We recently launched our ActiPatch pain relief medical device into the UK market and Denise has contributed a great deal to our profile, producing b2b media content that fully interpreted the product’s rationale. I’m delighted to say that the brand is now flourishing and is sold in Boots, Lloyds, Superdrug and Gordons along with many independent pharmacies.
I represent a range of bio-dermocosmetic skincare products that are based on a cutting edge, patented process of stem-cell technology. As my copywriter, Denise has taken that exacting science on board while retaining the luxury, therapeutic and beautifying ethos of the brand and created a synergistic array of content from website through to PR material and product pack editing. I frequently have to call on her at short notice and she is always dependable and on hand.
Denise has been producing my retailer magazine Natural Trade News for the past three years and it’s grown from a two-page flyer to an eight-page fully illustrated publication. My company, Natural Trade Brokers, represents around 20 top brands in the natural products sector and as Editor, Denise is a crucial link with them all. The magazine has become an influential educational and marketing tool for both my sales team and the 500 independent retailers in the UK and Ireland that are under their wing – and Denise has been pivotal in its development. Worth noting: we have never missed a print deadline, and sometimes we’re ahead of schedule!
Denise is one of those rare freelancers who files copy bang on time, sometimes ahead, to the perfect word count with and a style
that knocks many other freelancers into a cocked hat. It’s great to have her on board as my Deputy Editor for Natural Pharmacy and Better Retailing magazines.
Denise has excellent writing style and is incisive, knowledgeable and witty. She wrote about HayMax pollen barrier balms when we first launched and her words definitely helped us on the road to success in the world of hay fever, magazines and PR. Add to that her warm, friendly efficiency and you have something close to perfection!
I have known Denise since the days I headed the promotions department at Topshop, and she was my press officer. Both our careers have evolved steadily since then, but Denise always showed a natural flair for communications and writing. I’m glad she has cultivated those skills for her freelance career – she is an excellent wordsmith!
